Let the children get the spirit in trekking
My love of hiking and trekking started when I was a young boy. I have now the privilege to have two sons who also enjoy all our hiking trips, and they do not care in what kind of weather it is. This Christmas we were together with one other family and friends on a evening walk in bright moonshine, just -2 C and no snow. We walked for an hour with our flashlights and had a rest by the fire and made our dinner, and this was just 15 minutes by car from our houses. Why I share this moment with you? Sometimes it does not have to be an adventure trek to have a nice experience, and some times it is nice to share it with the family and learn the young ones how to be happy when they are out for a walk in the forest. This is how it started for me, and so far it has ended up in travelling and trekking in some of the most beautiful places on earth.
Best,
Einar
