Trip in United States ~ Beginner difficulty
Hello everyone,
Sorry its been so long my computer was confiscated by a large corporations that I won’t mention. Anyways we, my wife and I, went hiking the last to weekend and have some of the worst luck. During both weeks prior to our hiking excursions the weather was awesome sunny and warm for February, but as soon as the weekend hits it is cold and rainy, it even snowed the other day. All i can say is that i have to give props to the inventors of Gore-tex and Polar Fleece, without both of these product the last two weekend would have sucked. But we made the best of it jumping it the big puddles and searching out some more caves that we found. They weren’t very big but they were dry for a change. A couple of times we got of the trail to explore some of the damage for the ice storm that we had earlier in the year and while we were on the hunt for some tree carnage I spill and fell and dropped our camera in a giant puddle of mud. So unfortunately we could get any pics for this adventure but heres what is planned for the future first a ten day trip to Eminence, MO then a week later we are headed to Grand Junction for a couple of hiking and house hunting, then we are Colorado bound I can’t wait. Also here a question for and anyone out there Doesn’t anyone have any info on Adventure racing. I think it is something i want to start trying but I just need some help getting started. Thanks everyone
adventure safely Josh

Hope you have better luck next time!
I read some of Hannu's comments and I would not be surprised if he knows a bit about adventure racing....
