Is there a path along the Coast of Northsealand? 

I woke up on a cold January morning and got out of the tent, last night I came to the most western tip of the Northcoast trail. Sealand DK and put my tent up on the beach. I looked back north, it was time to head back towards Sweden again.

That morning it was not to cold, just above frezing, sunny and the wind was coming from indland, so everything was fine so far.  I was out there to research if  the "north coast trail" of Sealand DK exist at all.

Roumors say it does, and if that is right it will be an important link that will connect the 5000 km. long Northsea trail running from northern Scotlland, through England, Holland, Germany, Jutland and on… to where I got out of the tent that morning, and streched my sour body.

The problem… or challenge is that the official trail takes the long way around Sealand… If the North trail exist it will be a great shortcut around 110km. right up to Sweden. And as a bonus, there is a good chance it will be possible to walk all around Sealand DK. along small trails (aprox. 700km.)

…Several trips later I’ve covered the whole coast of North Sealand, most parts 2-3 times and what I’ve found is that the trail kind of exist, that means most of the aprox. 110 km. is fine walking along the beach or on small trails.

Great trails that nobody heard about… not even the local turist office.

There is a bike trail further indland, but who wants to walk on the roads when there are great trails down along the beach most of the way.

I finally ended up in Helsingor DK where I sat looking across to Sweden and Helsingborg…

The next part will be to see if the trail continue up along the coast out to Kullen, and further north along the westcoast from there. Here I will include some of the skeches as well.
