Biography
Einar’s grandfather bought him his first pair of hiking boots many years ago – since then he has been hooked on trekking through nature and continents. His first major hike took place in Norway , and by the time he was 30 he had hiked through most western European countries. Today all his trips take place in India, Nepal and Norway. He has also developed a taste for South Asia and Human Geography which leads him to northern India for at least two months every year!
One of Einar’s major accomplishments includes Base Camp Mt. Everest; however, he has also experienced hungry bears, non-friendly armies and snow storms on his hikes.

For many people Kashmir is associated with war an un safe to travel to. It is not true ! - if you just stay outside the small valleys close to the LoC( line of control), and take the plane from Dehli or Leh. My love of hiking and trekking started when I was a young boy. I have now the privilege to have two sons who also enjoy all our hiking trips, and they do not care in what kind of weather it is. This Christmas we were together with one other family and friends on a evening walk in bright moonshine, just -2 C and no snow.
